So, my 2011 was full of many highs and lows, so many that I couldn't wait to start 2012. I wanted to quickly forget some things that happened, finally get over some other things and not have to ponder on bitter sweet life changing experiences.

And so I ended the year with a bang! A full house filled with family - what more could I ask for. First christmas with the little man, I had to bring my Mommy A-game on. ( If anyone had told me years ago that I would be married, let alone be a Mom, I would have bet my life on their insanity: that's a story for another day).
We had a wonderful Christmas and I started the tradition that my mum used to keep, leaving presents wrapped under the Christmas tree for everyone in the house. It was pure bliss seeing their faces light up as they unwrapped their gifts. My darling husband wouldn't let me rest because he wanted to see what he got long before Christmas day. However I survived his torments, and he had no choice but to wait.

Taking a break off work to be with family was grand. I can tell you for free that juggling your life as a woman, a career woman, a wife, a mom, a friend, a daughter ain't Easy!

I am almost back to my pre pregnancy weight. *whoop whoop* even though I still have about 7kg to lose to get there, but I can see the light at the end of the tunnel having lost a total of 18kg in the last four months. In other words ~Sirius~ is a yummy mummy.
I swear by Jillian Michaels. That woman's workout works on fat cells that have not moved in the last 10yrs.
After going through all this, I can't understand the how women give birth more than once.#justsaying ( Feel free to judge me)

I decided that 2012 will be the year I Live.
Live life to the fullest, no inhibitions.
Because life is darn to short.

So, you can imagine the year opening in grand style for me. A thankful heart, a prophetic word from Sunday morning service and then GEJ's wonderful fuel subsidy announcement. I say- All things work together for good for those who love Him. We shall continue to #OccupyNigeria

My life is going to be what I decide to make out of it.
And so will our lives as Nigerians. If we decide to fight this to the end, then we will not only succeed for ourselves, but for our children as well.

My little man is just too adorable to give up the good fight. He says happy new year to you all, and may 2012 be whatever you want it to be for you.

I feel like this is my first post ever.
I think I've forgotten how to blog.
(How does one forget how to blog?)
I see I'm not the only one guilty of this crime (if I am allowed to call it that)

What's weird is that I cannot pin point what exactly kept me away from here. As for my life being uneventful, I'm pretty sure if I dig deep I would find some awesome stories to tell *smiley*

So.

It's just gone past the middle of August. Is this year fast or what? I've been married for a little over a year already. Funny how that day seems like yesterday. I still don't feel married. I feel like my best friend and I share an apartment. He's kind to let me stay and I return the favour by keeping him company; with benefits of course *wink*

I need shop therapy.

But before that, I need an additional source of income that would let me splurge on any and everything.

Life really does have a sense of humour.
As kids we were given everything we wanted for free, yet we wanted to grow up fast, now as adults we find out that the grass isn't as green as it looked like from the other side.

Somehow, i wish adult life came first, so that we'd apprecite being kids.

Feeling (Not So) Damn Good...

So, two Sundays ago in the cool air of the church auditorium, I listened to a story being told from the bible. It would be the umpteenth time I'd be hearing this story since I was a kid, but the first time I would ever stop and slowly digest a character that I never really taken an interest in ever since I'd heard the story.

I'm sure most of us all know the story of the prodigal son who requested for his share of wealth from his father (a king) and blew it all up, then he became less than a servant in a land where the people were seen as less than equals to his own people.

As I sat and listened to the analogy of this story, my ears stood (like a dogs' would) when his brother was analysed.

Quiet, never troubled his father, got his share of wealth (only because his brother requested for his), never caused any trouble, calm, reserved, speaks only when spoken too.......

I felt sad instantly....not for him, but for myself.

I've always played it safe like the first son, not to say I'm 100% goody two shoes or anything like that, but for the life of me I never take risks! I wonder if it has to do with the fact that nothing really excites me, not even "supposed" milestones in life (which i see as a very serious issue).

I usually sit down and take in whatever comes my way.... things happen in my life that i don't like and i just sit there waiting/hoping/wishing for them to change. I find it really really hard to complain or express my feelings, and when and if i eventually do it means that I'm probably sick of it to the point that it makes me sick.

Going back to the bible story...

The wayward brother got the best of both worlds, not to say I'm encouraging being wayward, but....
He caught the heart of his father more than his brother did, why? Because his father (like most heads/fathers/leaders), they are not moved my people who are static, people who just say yes to everything you say, people who don't challenge other people, people who have dreams and wishes buried inside them but are too afraid to birth them because they don't want to seem rude, or out of line.........people who don't speak their
mind or take risks.

How on earth am I going to make a difference in life if i always play safe?

Gosh!

I'm tired, I'm down, I'm angry at myself....I don't mean to sound ungrateful to God, but I'm not just myself...if I were white (no offence) I'd be diagnosed with depression and I'd be feeling slightly suicidal. It's ironic as nothing in wrong in my life at the moment. I guess it's just a phase, or perhaps I'm sucking up more than I should and I just haven't realised it yet.

I'm whining .........

And so, here I am again.

I don’t know what has gotten into me? (slowly saying that in my head - it sounds……..)

I can’t believe I abandoned my blog! (well, I can) Life has taken the toll on me.

Unfortunately I can't bore you with all the non-interesting details, instead I will motivate you to do something you love.....hehehe

So.

I have this friend, from waaaaay back. She does fantastic stuff with cupcakes! (Anyone who knows me knows I love cake…….and Ice-creamJ) The sad/fortunate thing is……she lives in far away Abuja. So I can’t indulge in all her naughtiness and so I defeat the scale in this battle *wide grin*

At first I was just going to put up one or two photos of her handwork. But I have something better….a blog link

However, for the lazy folks....sneak preview.

I promise to update you on all the non-interesting details...in due time. ( I hope I don't disappear for this long)

1 sheep, 2 Sheep, 3 Sheep....Randomly Bored

Boredom....an emotional state experienced during periods lacking activity or when individuals are uninterested in their surroundings.

That's how I've been feeling lately.....extremely bored.

What's crazy is that I have tons of things to do.....like read my books! (yes o...adult education ain't easy) I'm currently enrolled in a certification program (work related), 5 exams, so far 3 down 2 more to go..........someone should please tell ~Sirius~ to read her books and not fall asleep when she gets to page 2 (that's if she even picks up the book to read)

So.......I love to cook! (as much as I love to eat *insert wide grin*)

Not to blow my trumpet or anything, I am actually quite good at it. Somehow God knew all of this and blessed me with a husband who enjoys to eat. A lot. (picky sometimes) but he is a sucker for very good food, and so FoodNetwork has me drooling every now and then.

When I was much younger, my Saturday mornings were strictly to cater to my dad and his friends, I would sauté snails and bush-meat in pepper and onions for for them to indulge.

In my late teens....After my Saturday routine had long gone with the wind. I still catered to just my dad....not snails anymore, maybe some dryfish pepper soup or anything he fancied (my dad is a hard man to please when it comes to food- that's why I can manage a husband with the same standards) My dad would tease me that if I ever was jobless that I should open a restaurant- And No, I don't think I ever will.

Now, I do a lot of continental dishes, a lot of sauces.....hubby skewed me in that direction, because he loves restaurant food.

This is as random as it gets.....I can't get the images of Japan out of my head.

A reminder that we should be grateful everyday we are alive.

Off to enjoy my weekend!..hopefully read my books after I catch up on my TV shows.

Pondering....

Sometimes I find myself having these moments where my mind travels down a chain of thoughts. Sometimes they occur randomly, sometimes they are triggered by things happening in peoples lives around me.

They say Life is about choices, but then they also say that we all have a Jacklly and Hyde in each of us.

I've always wondered what triggers human beings to listen to the little red guy with horns and a pitch fork instead of the calm white peaceful dude with cute clean fluffy wings.

Granted, I am no saint. I've had days when the offer from the red dude was just too awesome to resist......and some how he always made me repay me double if not more. Nowadays I try to keep him banished.

An incident occurred in my compound, where a tenant felt the guard was rude to her, and so she expressed her feelings of dissatisfaction to the relative living with her, and in less than ten minutes our guard could no longer see from one eye.

I asked myself, why? was that really necessary?

Same goes for life generally.

What really is the essence of revenge?

We all wake up everyday hoping to have a good day, perhaps a fantastic one, with most things if not everything working in our favour. We live our lives and sometimes we forget that our actions affect other people.

We are faced with choices on a daily basis, and I understand how sometimes these choices can be difficult, but does that mean because they are difficult that we should give up or take the easy way out by hurting the people around us? Is that really necessary?

I think sometimes we act on our emotions when we make decisions (which can lead to some very bad decisions), sometimes we subconsciously/generally just take other people for granted, just because we believe they won't mind, or they might never know, or they would understand. Sometime we hurt our loved ones by our actions just because we are upset at that moment in time.......and that's how we let the red guy with the pitch fork have his way, unfortunately for us we forget that one day those people will reach a point where they would give up on us too.

I wish every time we had to make a decision or a choice that we actually slow down and listen to the voice of reason, instead of close our eyes and snatch the pitch fork from the red dude.

I wish every time we had to make a choice we would halt, and take a good look at ourselves in the mirror and ask "Is it really necessary?"

It is easier to move forward and forget about almost making the wrong choice or decision, than to UNsay those words to a loved one even though deep down we never meant them. We can never UNcheat on our partner, same way we can never UNbeat a person. Sadly, we can never tell that person how we really feel about them when their dead and gone.

I guess I'm just upset about the incident. It was totally unnecessary and unfair.

Crap! I Forgot To Title My Post!

… I miss blogging.

I really do.

It’s the middle of February, and this is my first post.

I even tried the 7 unknown things about me in my head…..and I never got round to actually typing it out.

Now I don’t feel like it anymore.

I was reading my old posts and I couldn’t believe I wrote most of them……Somehow I don’t think I’m much of that ~Sirus~ anymore……*sigh

On another note…..A blogger saw me and expressed her thoughts on how she expected to see a “fat ~Sirius~” especially after reading posts of me crying my weight out.

Truth be told I’m actually not fat, neither am I anywhere near fat (well, anorexic girls may think otherwise- but who cares about them?) I just suffer from the perfect body syndrome (ha! I just made that up)

And so today is Valentine’s Day…..truth be told again. I’ve always hated today for the mere reason that a lot of lies and heartbreaks are happening as I type this. I say this because I have been a victim once upon a time and I have also seen people fall victims too.

……oh well. That phase of my life is definitely over, so in the spirit of Valentine here’s to my one true love;

Roses are red

Violets are blue

Remember I once told you

Loving you is all I’m going to do.

End Of Year Results

That's what I score the year 2010.

It was my perfect year.

10/10.

I had the good, the bad and some ugly. As we all know, all things work together for good.(So it's all good)

I am extremely grateful to God Almighty. He is the reason I look back at the year today, still failing to find a flaw. For that reason alone I cannot thank Him enough.

In all His perfection, He cared enough for tiny little me (even though I was not always on my best behaviour) He let me have a perfect year.

I grew older.
I grew stronger.
I grew wiser.
I showed more appreciation for the simple things in life.
I got married (To the best husband in the world)
I had the best holiday ever this year.

Above all, I have peace, joy, happiness and so much love in my heart.

At the end of the year, most of us find ourselves doing some evaluation or re evaluation on how we view things.
At the end of my evaluation, I realised all the things that I worried about at some point or the other ended up being a waste of my time, emotions and energy. Never again!

I'm now certain, that He who began a good work in me is indeed faithful to complete it.

I say. Goodbye 2010. You were indeed a pleasure.

Alas,

My holiday is over.

Sad but true......... I.Have.A.Real.Life.

I'm slowly coming off my shopping high, while trying to remember what's outstanding on my to-do-list at home

Being able to pound the concrete day after day is one of the few things I love to do. Quite frankly I only have a few number of things I love to do, staying indoors being at the top of the list.

Going on a holiday is compulsory in my books. I preach this message to anyone I can.

Money can never buy the satisfaction of a get-away, preferably to a sane town.

As it stands, I'm ready for another bout of Lagos and its madness, having rested & topped up my tolerance for insanity.

I have 2 days left, I'm just going to lean back, relax and not think about work or anything relatively close to it.

Actually, ~Mister~ bought the PlayStation Move controller, so I'm off to play some Sports Championship and hopefully burn evil calories I got from chowing All You Can Eat buffets back to back *insert wide grin here*

It's About Time...

...No, I am not leaving blogspot.

It gets to a point in the year where you slowly shutdown. I am at that point.

Work has been great. The company is blowing up on a massive scale. I intend to blow with them.

Battling with my weight. Again.

I hear when you're happy you gain weight. *KMT*

Why is it so hard to lose the last 5kg? ......So, it’s on to weights and some cardio.

Found myself in a bridal shower last Sunday.

The girls in Lagos leave me speechless all the time. I quickly ran back home after winding my waist to Olekun for 2 minutes *wink*

It’s Tv season. Fringe Rocks!!!!

Of course life can’t be complete without weekly doses from the Upper Eastside & Wisteria Lane.

And I believe I’ve made only 3 dresses out of my six. I really need to learn how to sew.

Tailors can be so annoying.

I am tired. I need a break. I need a holiday. I need time away from the hustle.

So………..I’m packing my bags and whipping my hair back and forth!!!!!

I Felt Like Putting Up A Scattered Post......So I Did.

One Month after the aisle....

Marriage is pretty much Awesome (if you're married to the ~~right~~ one)

Nope, I won't bore you with how happy I am, waking up every morning beside my best friend and Lover.....

Or how I make him indulge in healthy eating, which he likes to call grazing (because i flog his diet with fresh vegetables),

Or how we keep our boyfriend and girlfriend tradition of watching movies together at the weekends @ home: I actually have a quota of RomComs (romantic comedies) that I am allowed to watch so I don’t make him have more estrogens than he should have.lol.

This is still the easy part and We know this.......God is our strength and He will take us through to the end.

I fall in love with him each passing day.......and dude has been shot by cupid several times over since we got hitched! LOL (I'm busy loving all the extra Love)

Oh, by the way We didn't meet on blogger: just clearing the air J

Moving On......

Work has been work.......business as usual as some folks would say.

I put myself up to a challenge. 12 dresses by the end of the year with my name on it. well

~House of Double O~ ..........Caramel D gave me that name 3 years ago (I had just met and started hanging out with ~Mister~, she really believed he was The One then, Well now I guess I can say she was right!)

I'm not Fashion Crazy, but i'm the one the girls ask: is this outfit good to go? or What do I wear? Do these shoes match the outfit? will a shorter skirt do the trick?......So, I have a sense of style but it's not as broad as I'd want it to be..........That's why I'd love to live in England, London town to be precise for 2 or more months every summer........Ok, maybe I'm exaggerating when I say live in England, but the shop displays and people walking on the streets each with their own unique style just gives me ......... overwhelming joy, peace and satisfaction.

Still battling with weight gain and weight loss.............it's never ending!!! I intend to be a sexy wife o! even after the consignments arrive......please, I can't shout. It doesn't even help that I married a very sexy man, so each day I am reminded what I have to keep up with!

I haven't done much work today, so I'm off to earn my paycheck for today (how come when I work overtime I never get rewarded.....*rolls eyes*)

Why can't I win a massive Lottery????? One that would accommodate me to put up my feet for the next 5 years.......

Ramble State Of Mind

So I am not your average girl.

I don't care about a lot of things. (my friends don't bother with me anymore)

I do some odd things that contradict the unspoke rules in life.

Sometimes I forgive the people who have done the most evil things to me in all of my lifetime,

and yet have a hard time letting go of a random person who decided to let her selfish acts scar me.

(Maybe because I obliterate the evil doers in my head. Just saying)

What's the point of special days when sometimes they only cause pain?

Sometimes I really wish I had the chance to meet certain people differently.

Of late, the last 2-3 years to be precise; I noticed I've become too emotional for my liking.

Too emotional that I cry so easily at the most trivial emotional rifts.

(I really have to stop that)

I hate being emotionally drained. It kills my soul.

As good as life is, things happen and I find myself in "the zone"

Things I do not like.

Things that leave a bitter taste in my mouth.

And I just want to be left alone.

Most of the time I wish I could erase those things, sadly I don't see that happening during my stay on planet earth.

I always believe there is a reason why "that thing" happened to me.

Leaving me to analyze and learn my lesson *KMT*

These things leave me with two choices.

Either be a big girl, not cry and suck it up.

Or, be a girl and cry a river.........

Then there's the subconscious telling me that it could have been much worse, so be glad.

Routine Check

Everyday.
I switch on my laptop.
I connect to the world wide web.
I click on my goolge chrome icon.
I log on to my regular sites. Google, Gmail, and the others, my blogger dashboard actually the first to be opened.
I check my blog roll, and open all new posts to be read that day.

Today was business as usual, but this time I looked at my dashboard and saw my "new post" icon staring back at me with hurt and betrayal in its eyes.
I miss posting regularly.

A lot going on around me, Life as we know it.
Time will always be 24hrs a day and things to do will always be Endless. The thoughts begin to fade and some posts never come to life.

I love blogspot. I really do.
I guess there's just something about words.

A couple of months ago I was watching the Queen of England at her graceful age of 84 (correct me if I'm wrong.....ok, I googled *big grin*)
I watched in awe as she performed her duties. I had a self moment and thought to myself.

Words are really Powerful.

All these years people from all over the world have been saying "Long Live The Queen", those words had no choice but to be.
She has well and truly lived long.

All this made me realize that I should be more careful about the things I say, whether spoken or written.
There's no such thing as words you just say but don't mean.

To think God spoke words and it came to Life. That's how we all got here.

Words should be taken seriously. Don't say what you don't mean.
I have said I Love you when I never meant it. I made him hold on to something that wasn't there, and when I left he couldn't understand why.
Now I know better.

Now I say I Love you with every bone in my body, and this time it is because I mean it.

Tomorrow is Friday....... And I'm having a Carmelicious one.

Until Death Do Us Part.....

To those who are married, .. Not married .. and soon to be married.

I hope you will be touched by this story.

When I got home that night as my wife served dinner, I held her hand and said, I've got something to tell you. She sat down and ate quietly. Again I observed the hurt in her eyes.

Suddenly I didn't know how to open my mouth. But I had to let her know what I was thinking. I want a divorce..

I raised the topic calmly. She didn't seem to be annoyed by my words, instead she asked me softly, why? I avoided her question. This made her angry. She threw away the chopsticks and shouted at me, you are not a man! That night, we didn't talk to each other. She was weeping. I knew she wanted to find out what had happened to our marriage. But I could hardly give her a satisfactory answer; she had lost my heart to Dew.

I didn't love her anymore. I just pitied her!

With a deep sense of guilt, I drafted a divorce agreement which stated that she could own our house, our car, and 30% stake of my company. She glanced at it and then tore it into pieces.

The woman who had spent ten years of her life with me had become a stranger. I felt sorry for her wasted time, resources and energy but I could not take back what I had said for I loved Dew so dearly. Finally she cried loudly in front of me, which was what I had expected to see. To me her cry was actually a kind of release.

The idea of divorce which had obsessed me for several weeks seemed to be firmer and clearer now.

The next day, I came back home very late and found her writing something at the table. I didn't have supper but went straight to sleep and fell asleep very fast because I was tired after an eventful day with Dew. When I woke up, she was still there at the table writing. I just did not care so I turned over and was asleep again.

In the morning she presented her divorce conditions: she didn't want anything from me, but needed a month's notice before the divorce. She requested that in that one month we both struggle to live as normal a life as possible. Her reasons were simple: our son had his exams in a month's time and she didn't want to disrupt him with our broken marriage.

This was agreeable to me. But she had something more, she asked me to recall how I had carried her into out bridal room on our wedding day. She requested that everyday for the month's duration I carry her out of our bedroom to the front door ever morning.. I thought she was going crazy. Just to make our last days together bearable I accepted her odd request.

I told Dew about my wife's divorce conditions.. . She laughed loudly and thought it was absurd. No matter what tricks she applies, she has to face the divorce, she said scornfully.. My wife and I hadn't had any body contact since my divorce intention was explicitly expressed. So when I carried her out on the first day, we both appeared clumsy. Our son clapped behind us, daddy is holding mummy in his arms. His words brought me a sense of pain. From the bedroom to the sitting room, then to the door, I walked over ten meters with her in my arms. She closed her eyes and said softly; don't tell our son about the divorce. I nodded, feeling somewhat upset. I put her down outside the door. She went to wait for the bus to work. I drove alone to the office.

On the second day, both of us acted much more easily. She leaned on my chest. I could smell the fragrance of her blouse. I realized that I hadn't looked at this woman carefully for a long time.. I realized she was not young any more. There were fine wrinkles on her face, her hair was graying! Our marriage had taken its toll on her. For a minute I wondered what I had done to her.

On the fourth day, when I lifted her up, I felt a sense of intimacy returning. This was the woman who had given ten years of her life to me. On the fifth and sixth day, I realized that our sense of intimacy was growing again. I didn't tell Dew about this. It became easier to carry her as the month slipped by. Perhaps the everyday workout made me stronger. She was choosing what to wear one morning. She tried on quite a few dresses but could not find a suitable one. Then she sighed, all my dresses have grown bigger.

I suddenly realized that she had grown so thin, that was the reason why I could carry her more easily. Suddenly it hit me... she had buried so much pain and bitterness in her heart. Subconsciously I reached out and touched her head. Our son came in at the moment and said, Dad, it's time to carry mum out. To him, seeing his father carrying his mother out had become an essential part of his life. My wife gestured to our son to come closer and hugged him tightly. I turned my face away because I was afraid I might change my mind at this last minute. I then held her in my arms, walking from the bedroom, through the sitting room, to the hallway. Her hand surrounded my neck softly and naturally. I held her body tightly; it was just like our wedding day. But her much lighter weight made me sad.

On the last day, when I held her in my arms I could hardly move a step. Our son had gone to school. I held her tightly and said, I hadn't noticed that our life lacked intimacy. I drove to office.... jumped out of the car swiftly without locking the door. I was afraid any delay would make me change my mind...I walked upstairs.

Dew opened the door and I said to her, Sorry, Dew, I do not want the divorce anymore.

She looked at me, astonished, and then touched my forehead.. Do you have a fever? She said.

I moved her hand off my head. Sorry, Dew, I said, I won't divorce.

My marriage life was boring probably because she and I didn't value the details of our lives, not because we didn't love each other any more. Now I realize that since I carried her into my home on our wedding day I am supposed to hold her until death do us apart.

Dew seemed to suddenly wake up. She gave me a loud slap and then slammed the door and burst into tears. I walked downstairs and drove away. At the floral shop on the way, I ordered a bouquet of flowers for my wife. The salesgirl asked me what to write on the card. I smiled and wrote, I'll carry you out every morning until death do us apart.

That evening I arrived home, flowers in my hands, a smile on my face, I run up stairs, only to find my wife in the bed - dead.

The small details of your lives are what really matter in a relationship. It is not the mansion, the car, property, the money in the bank. These create an environment conducive for happiness but cannot give happiness in themselves.

So find time to be your spouse's friend and do those little things for each other that build intimacy.

Do have a real happy marriage! If you don't share this, nothing will happen to you. If you do, you just might save a marriage.

Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up.

Mid May already.........Time really does fly.

I had no plans of abandoning my "safe place" here for this long......work, Life and some Very Demanding clients deemed it fit to take over my time and sleep......can I have a witness please(raise your right hand).
I took it upon myself to take my life back, and you should too!

Found myself reflecting over the weekend. I went to visit my childhood friend whom I hadn't seen in a while, and met another friend of ours there.

We all got chit chatting, weight, dress size, hair (I'm sure I'm the only girl in Lagos who hasn't bought into the whole brazillian/perusian/ mexican hair....lol), shoes, weddings, etc......for some odd reason men weren't part of the discussion. Hehehehe

Apparently to them I am now a full fledged "weirdo" why? Because I am undeniably "unsentimental" to things girls/ladies would normally care about. *shrug* Well, that's just who I am, and I Love me....(They still love me too, So.)

I have evolved........for the only reason that I was always meant to.

It's crazy the paths and people life let's you encounter, and we are all given a fair chance to make the best of it by making choices.
I've met the most amazing people in my tiny little world, and I'm glad I met them all...........the good, the bad and the ugly.

So I stumbled unto this note;

I tried to put myself in the unknown writers shoes.

God knows I've repeated this a thousand times in my head, but I also know I won't get it out right if I were to try and tell you how I really feel. (Either I forget some parts or ramble on)

We met. Became friend. Then Lovers. We laughed. We cried. We fought. We made wrong choices. We made right chioces from the wrong ones. We made Love......We decided " Us against the world"

Nothing's perfect. But we are perfect for each other :-)

Yes to the outside world, we look like quiet a pair ,because we share our joys, pains, pressure and tears together.

We have come a mighty long way from when we started out. We have grown in ways I didn't even imagine. We love "us" so much that we work so hard at keeping "us" together .....Our Love is like Old wine......better with each passing day

I get it when you say you look at yourself and you see me, because when I look at myself I see you too.

Go On With Your Bad Self.....

Work has been crazy......Thank God I love my job. Appraisals in January left me with mixed feelings. I hit below my expectations, leaving me no other option but to aim for 100% and nothing less. So Far, So Good.

A friend said to me, there's no point being good at what you do, because everybody can be good therefore you have to be outstanding in order to make a difference. It hit home.

Her example......B (All you Beyonce haters, feel free to keep on hating) truth be told, that girl works extra hard and deserves everything she's got.

In the mean time.

I've taken video games up. It's me and them.....personal vendetta. I wonder why people would think their kids as dumb or lazy if they played video games.......Men! the thought process involved in gaming is strictly for sharp human minds, and I'm not talking Wii here, No offence. Of course you all know who is subconsciously responsible for this.

I was brought up on the easy stuff, Mario, Duck Hunt, Sonic the Hedgehog: Sonic just ran and jumped as far as i was concerned. But with games like God of War and Uncharted......puzzle minded, you are bound to feel lost and confused, and all the buttons on the control pad don't help either. Your brain definitely has to be active. I'm actually having fun playing them..........But i shall not be caught dead with any first person shooters.

Saw a couple of things that reminded me of what we thought was "cool" back in the days.

Remember wearing white socks in your dress shoes? What the Hell was that?

As if that wasn't bad....all the ridiculous things we did as kids, from Licking your plate (hey, don't lie! you did it), to cooking with sand, smoking paper,flogging trees like they were your pupils (i guess we were only imitating our teachers).......not to mention the local games.....10 10, suwe/swell, koso...lol, shooting paper from rubber band.....and the likes of them.

Then came the era when we were concerned about fashion and music.....spice trainers for chics, jelly sandals, skousers, dungarees, clogs then the guys cared about biggie, tupac, bone thugs and lumberjack shirts...lol

Good times....I feel my post losing it's way.....*Yawning*

My best friend told me that break- up songs are the best songs in the world.

Believe me, he is right.

I guess it’s the fact that we can identify with the words and emotions of the singer.Well, I’m assuming only those of us with 1^st hand experience agree with me.

Meanwhile being able to indulge in music while working rocks!

Lately I find myself listening to the words (Well, Googling the lyrics to most of them * smiley with a big grin*) and loving the logic behind some of the songs.

Last week she dimmed it fit to find herself in her dad’s car cooling off, no thanks to the current heat situation in Lagos.

A few minutes later, there was no wall between their house and their neighbours .

The Mayonnaise Jar
When things in your life seem almost too much to handle,
When 24 hours in a day is not enough;
Remember the mayonnaise jar and 2 cups of coffee.

A professor stood before his philosophy class and had some items in front of him.
When the class began, quietly, he picked up a very large and empty mayonnaise jar and starts to fill it with golf balls. He then asked the students if the jar was full. They agreed that it was.
The professor then picked up a box of pebbles and poured it into the jar. He shook the jar lightly. The pebbles rolled into the open areas between the golf balls. He then asked the students again if the jar was full. They agreed it was.
The professor then picked up a box of sand and poured it into the jar. Of course, the sand filled up everything else. He asked once more if the jar was full. The students responded with a unanimous 'yes.'
The professor then produced two cups of coffee from under the table and poured the entire contents into the jar, effectively filling the empty space between the sand. The students laughed.

'Now,' said the professor, as the laughter subsided, 'I want you to recognize that this jar represents your life. The golf balls are the important things - God, family, children, health, friends, and favourite passions. Things that if everything else was lost and only they remained, your life would still be full.
The pebbles are the things that matter like your job, house, and car.
The sand is everything else -- The small stuff.

'If you put the sand into the jar first,' he continued, 'there is no room for the pebbles or the golf balls.
The same goes for life.
If you spend all your time and energy on the small stuff, You will never have room for the things that are Important to you.
So...Pay attention to the things that are critical to your happiness.
Play with your children. Take time to get medical checkups. Take your partner out to dinner.
There will always be time to clean the house and fix the dripping tap.
'Take care of the golf balls first -- The things that really matter.Set your priorities.
The rest is just sand.

'One of the students raised her hand and inquired what the coffee represented. The professor smiled. 'I'm glad you asked'.It just goes to show you that no matter how full your life may seem, there's always room for a couple of cups of coffee with a friend.'Feel free to share this with other "Golf Balls", I just did.

Moderating comments off my blackberry has been quite tricky, I receive mail, Read the comment, scroll the track ball to "publish this comment" after which the request goes through.
A few seconds later "This comment was successfully rejected " . Go Figure.

Still working on my new figure. Now I'm being extra careful so I don't end up losing too much weight. After all I am african.

Christmas decors springing up. 'tis the season to be jolly, la la la la la la la la la. I wonder what this christmas holds.....I hear the shops calling my name :-)

So, I've had the crazy urge to drop my 9-5 and get a sewing machine! I have NO idea how to sew: but I want to learn so I can make my own clothes. Crazy I know. Or Not.

Mission Impossible II

So,

Busy- food- loving ~Sirius~ embarked on a mission to lose some good weight!

Yes.

I say I'm fat at UK12 weighing 75kg or 165 lbs and 5”7 tall. I started out with her detox, eating everything fresh. Let's just say I attempted about 3 times before I finally went past day 1. My saving grace: I love fruits and vegetables, so that made it easier for me, by day 5 I had dropped 4kg! which made all the difference in the dress I wore to the event.

Ironically, once determination kicks in, all the good food in the world becomes available. I sat there with 3 course meals over my head and under my nose, I looked away, drank water and ate the cucumbers in the ~The Mister’s~ chapman. *hiss.

There was no way I’d lose focus, not right now, Do you know how hard it is to get even 1kg off!

Seeing the progress, I wasn't going to let it slip, so I registered with a gym, working out myself wasn't really working out (pun intended). After my busy day at the office- I head straight to the gym (Please, I cannot even imagine wasting my money), it was hard during the first few days, I expected that, after all it had been 6 long years I walked into a gym.

I have a goal weight I intend to achieve, 5-6 kg lower than where I would like to stabilize. My eating habits have gone back to 100% healthy- No carbonated drinks -can't remember the last time I had one anyway, no fried foods, can't eat after 7pm, more fruits and vegetables during the course of the day, No White rice & white bread! That's the devil behind our bulgy lower abdomen.

I have set my eyes on sexy young mothers recently, and I have a good picture in my head how I want to look too, but that's not good enough. I've lost a total of 8kg (17.6lbs)- a lot if you ask me. I’m pretty impressed with my determination. ~The Mister~ cannot hide his appreciation of my new figure, in fact he has started screaming, “~Sirius~, Please do not overdo this thing” LOL!

But a girl's got to do what a girl's got to do.

I'm half way there, and this is where the hard part begins, losing so little at a time, patience and perseverance are my new best friends :-)

Mission: Sexy ~Sirius~ MUST be accomplished.

Saw all the comments you left. Thanks for the condolence, and I’m definitely not marrying any hook up!

My lifestyle is undergoing a makeover and it started about two weeks ago. ~The Mister~ and I were heading towards his place when he said to me. “The office is part of an important event next weekend, and “We” are attending”-I said “sure, not a problem” He goes on to say “Sirius, what are you going to wear”

I froze.

He never says that.

Over the last couple of months he has watched me struggle with my weight, it was so bad that I’d cry, he would encouraged me, told me I could get rid of it if I tried. He knew looking fit and sexy was me, but somewhere along life’s course I’d lost it.

Rewind a year or two ago: Sirius (hermit by birth) was always out and about with “the girls”, from Shows, to Album Launches, Red carpet events, always in VIP, Style magazines, etc….. glamorous lifestyle, not by chioce.

Now: Sirius , living in my true form, fatter, less energetic retired socialite with a programmed weekend where all I do is chill, catch up on my TV series and movies with the ~The Mister~ while we bitch about what happened that week.

The truth is, a year ago my situation would have been- what dress to choose from because I would look Fab in any of them either way, but now it was; what dress would be able to cover my new midriff and ooze out the that level of sexiness I was once known for? And ~The Mister~ knew I was going to take that with a heavy heart.

Enough is enough I said to myself (It’s amazing what starts off a chain of events)- The next day, I was online and I bumped into her blog, and I’m like what the hell! If she can, I can too. I also saw Tyra’s new 30lbs weight loss reveal- I lost it! And that’s how I embarked on my mission.

Let’s just say, I had fun taking pictures at the event, even though it was a couple of days after I started out (I really wish I could put up a sexy Sirius picture, maybe someday), we had loads of fun, I looked and felt Fab.

Details of my Mission will be in my next post, as this one is long already.

It’s amazing what you can do when you are determined.

And I finally make it here...

Is it me, or Twitter has a weird way of taking one away from blogging? :-(

A lot has happened in the past 1 month, from my mum springing surprising statements, to losing my grandfather and going home for the burial, and now I'm home in bed, literally a walking pharmacy as I have to chug down 10+ pills a day!
Darn you sinusitis, malaria ++ and typhoid and Thank God for the extended weekend, precise timing.
(~The Mister~ is being extra sweet because I'm ill, I wonder if I can get away with extending my illness, LOL- lai lai. I miss being ok)

Thank you for checking on me, you.........yes you, the ones who left me comments and the ones who are reading this right now. Lol

The world is trying hard to kill my timely Internet pleasures.

Speaking of the burial, my granddad survived 86 years on earth, he sure lived well.
My dad being the 1st child had a huge responsibility to live up to and he did so, flawlessly. Burial turned into a 3day carnival. I read the lesson at the church service (English lesson for an Ibo service- *sheepish face), As the Ada(1st daughter) and oldest grandchild around I had to be there for my dad. It went pretty well. My grand dad was called “Onye Nkuzi” by every one (it means Teacher) - he held the kindred together for a long time before and after the Biafra war. It felt good to watch other people celebrate him, I felt good to have come from someone like that.

12 years ago was the last time I was home, Owerri looked pretty much the same to me, so did my village which is about 15mins from the main city. A lot of people thought I was my dad's wife(my mother by the way who is in Sudan right now providing medical aid- lets just say she's quite brave in her choice of countries to provide aid to) but they couldn't understand why i was looked so much younger- like duh! The funniest thing happened during my short visit home. My dad and friends were cooling off from their running around some where in the village and we bumped into them, my aunts and I, some recognized me and the others were more or less shocked that my dad had someone like me as his child. Then one of them says “I have a son who's getting married soon, he's 6ft tall, medical doctor, good looking”- and I said, “oh, congratulations” (trying to figure out why i was bestowed with such wonderful information), only for him to continue “I’m sure you guys will like each other” and I’m like” huh?” and in a split second I burst out laughing. Literally LOL!

Imagine this guy trying to shamelessly hook me up with his son. Do I look like I have "RIPE FOR MARRIAGE" boldly written across my forehead! I told him I was taken no offense, and he goes on to say, i haven't seen Ibo men in action, right now he's here with my dad, and all he has to do is pay my bride price and everything will be over. LMAO!!! This time, I say thanks for the offer but I'll pass, of course my aunties formed voltron force for me, and trust my dad not to utter a word! We left and I kept shaking my head thinking, what are parents up to these days?!

It’s back to work pretty soon *that sucks!. It’s the end of the year already...

I wonder what the last three months will hold......

Remember that feeling you get in the pit of your stomach when that guy who lives down the road is walking past with his friend. I remember it like it like it was yesterday.

He stares at you for a couple of seconds as he walks past . You literally feel things moving in your belly, you turn away and blush.

Hours later on your bed at night, you can’t help but constantly think of him. Blushing. Wondering if you’d see him the next day.

School is over, holiday lessons are on. You looked forward to attending only because he’d be in class, even though you don’t say a word to him. You are complete, just by being in the same room with him.

At the same bus/train station every morning on your way to your faculty......your heart does its own workout, racing when no one asked it to.

You get a job, and he’s there, on the second floor.

Another good day at the office.

You look forward to lunch at your regular spot, he walks in at exactly 1:30pm .......

The butterflies are still there.

Such a wonderful feeling........

Every girl must have been in at least one out of all these scenarios if not all.

We met a while ago.

We became friends, then we became more than friends

Or so I thought.

He was kind, funny, and very caring

He had a secret, he had another friend.

We became foes whilst we were still friends.

I was torn

Like I’m 13.

I have a crush on him

Seriously, it was satisfying just seeing your crush when we were younger......how come that isn’t the case now? Seeing is good, but it just doesn’t cut it.

It is evident that the older we get, the more things change, it’s no wonder a 27+ year old finds it hard to find a single man these day, because like us, men at 27+ usually have partners.

It’s funny the way life pans out, we have plans, dreams, expectations, we worry at a certain age if we haven’t achieved certain things. We worry that we might not be able to achieve certain things that we think we need in order to take the next step.

If we stop, pause and take a look at where we are coming from, we notice that even though we had our so called “phenomenal plans” we ended up in a much better place, without that thing we thought was the key to our next step.

Everyone has their time, and that time is unique to him/her, so do not panic if your younger sister is married and you’re not, or if you do not have a job and your twin has been promoted twice. Your time will come...........

PS: So the kidnapping is getting out of hand.....what is up with this nation!

I’ve always wondered what my life would have been like if I had made different life changing decisions.

I don’t regret anything that has happened to me.

In fact..........I believe the path I walk (even though I might be a late bloomer in some aspects of my life) I believe it is the best path for me.

And I know this because God walks with me.

And to Him I am eternally grateful and thankful for my Life.

His Grace is indeed Sufficient for me.

I have grown a lot in the last one year.

PS: The Mister did the most amazing thing ever! Remember how I cried about my new makeup that got stolen 2 months ago, make up I had just invested in from my last trip- well, he went out and bought every single item back with a cute purse to put them all in! And what moved me was the fact that after his research- he handpicked every item from the store himself- he didn’t just let anybody bring stuff to him to select, he went to the stores and picked them himself

So today it's me, him, my BlackBerry and my new Make up!

Blog hopping as I usually do,

I read this.

Had me thinking about people in relationships, and why they had to do all sorts of shameful nonsense only to fulfill their selfish desires.

Fair enough dude eventually told the truth about his feelings, after letting things get deep between them. Sucks if you ask me.

In other cases,

You'd have people who would just let things go on, keep you with them and keep thinking about the other person.

Or his type.

Or the ones who would try to keep the both of you.

Or the ones who get the message and move on after fighting it.

I have two friends who went through different scenarios.....Story for another day.

A case of an ex and a cheating boyfriend.

With the cheating boyfriends...

Why do they have to stoop so low?

For me it's easy- especially if you have cheated before- you know the consequences.

End your relationship and chase your new fish, when you're tired you go after a new one, until you get it in your numb skull that every girl/guy is the same at the end of the day.

But Noooooooo, they will go through the stress of sending stupid texts or making calls when their wives/girlfriend/fiances -Vice Versa -are not around- or even worse wait for them to go to the kitchen/bathroom/ out of the house.

If that isn't bad enough, you have the ones who are so silly to change names on their phones- I mean- do you really think the other person is that dumb?

If he/she was dumb, you wouldn't be with him/her in the 1st place.....(My ex did that once, knowing the kind of person he was, I was far from suprised.)- Had a family friend who found out her boyfriend had saved her name as "Dapo" on his phone- and she's Ibo- LOL!

Lets not even talk about the ones that are married, some even married with kids! and they have the nerve to lie about it.

Or is it the ones that go through the pains of covering their tracks, by cutting off incoming calls, switching their phones off when you're with them, deleting call logs and text messages.

I mean......What do you really GAIN?

I think it's only fair that you consider the other person.

For the fact you have a heart pumping blood,

Literally have a heart.

If you can't control your urges.CHOOSE!!!

Don't do that nonsense of having a wife/girlfriend yet you're sharing intimacy with someone else.

It can be easily done to you, and you better believe- You will NOT like it.

PS: Venting on behalf of my broken hearted friends.

PPS: Birthday is in exactly two weeks.......Nooooooooooo excitement what so ever.

I'm still very much alive........work= crazy.......and I'm loving it.

In my spare time between meetings and crazy deadlines, I play around with my Apps on my Ipod. There's one called "Backgrounds"- It lets you download pictures........Very cool pictures too, like this one.

It's also got sections, and under quotes I found these.................Knock yourself out.

Quite frankly, looking back only slows down life's journey.

So I passed my French test................Yaaaay!

And no, I did not cheat. I got a well deserved 63/70. I just didn’t take my test until the last batch and by then after listening to different people revise out loud (which reminded me of those annoying girls in secondary school who had the habit of asking questions and reciting the answers in front of class or by the corridor in secondary school-Always making me feel like I was a dunce (Sadly, those questions always came out))

I still haven’t brought out a replacement handbag, I told my beloved sister about the incident, and she screamed, she screamed not because she was worried about me, but because she couldn’t imagine anyone taking away her “investment” of her handbag, No kidding I would scream too if my bag cost more than a plane ticket out of here. After which she turned White (A term I like to use when she forgets she grew up in this country and begins to complain like a Canadian, asking silly questions like how would she survive if she moved home.....*hiss )

I stepped on a scale on Friday.......my jaw literally dropped.

My new weight had me doing a lot of soul searching. It’s funny the things in life that begin a chain of thoughts. I was a onetime weight loss guru- 6 years ago to be exact. And now I can’t get myself to lose 1 dress size. I’ve come to realize that the reason we lose track in life, fall out of line, or give up is because we lose our sense of DISCIPLINE.

(DISCIPLINE: the training to improve strength or self control.)

Discipline clearly indicates boundaries. Normally as humans we have boundaries for every aspect of our lives- the things we know we should do, the things we shouldn’t do, but we are usually carefree about them. And that’s where the problem is. I am obviously guilty of this crime.

Tigeress's last post left me with a sour taste in my mouth. Even though it’s no new news that men........and women cheat. I can never understand why people would go through such lengths. Forget what they say “Guys cheat because they can” I say they cheat because the lack self discipline.

Speaking of which, I need to work on my self-discipline...........A married man in my office has been sending me text messages – (semi harmless) every morning and night ,in fact the morning texts wake me up sometimes. The fact that I know my boundaries doesn’t mean I should assume the next person knows his. A series of text messages everyday for over a month is just too much- And so, I showed him where the line is. Let’s hope he stays on his side.

So from now on its Self Discipline ‘r’ Us.

Starting with my eating habits......:-( goodbye biscuits, goodbye processed foods, eating late, and eating more :-( ......I’ll really miss you. My relationship with people (No more Miss Nice- I am putting everybody where they belong), and then my relationship. I happen to be too spoilt, stubborn and ALWAYS right *sheepish face.

When faced with having the right choice as the only choice, you realize that the right choice is indeed very hard to make.

Another Month Bites The Dust........

Someone please tell me how we got to the end of the month already. I remember April fool’s day like it was yesterday. Being in the real world really does suck up ones’ life.

Had an uneventful Saturday.
I got robbed whilst I was fixing my tyre at the vulcanizer. Right under my nose, my bag was stolen from my car. It sucked! And I was really upset. Thank God I had my phone, Ipod and car keys in my pocket. As far as replacements go, everything can be replaced; I was most upset about my Juicy C Shades! And my newly acquired make up- it’s all gone! * sob sob.
Oh well……………...

The Mister and cousin showed up after my frantic phone call- My cousin hugged me and the Mister gave me the stare. I know, I know, I get the stare all the time- he warns me about things like this and I never listen. Lesson learned now! Thank God he had my laptop bag- I would have literally lost it if my laptop was taken * just the thought of it gives me shivers. Take everything, but don’t take my gadgets.

And so I sulked yesterday away. Slept a lot- which was good. I was in a much better mood by evening. Watched the Mister play his video games one right after the other, and it had me wondering why women complained when their men played games. I mean- he is in the house, right? Isn’t that where you want him? To be honest, The Mister feels a bit uncomfortable sometimes when I am around and he feels like gaming (worried that it might look like his attention is elsewhere instead of with me) I on the other hand can’t be bothered. I enjoy watching him play, and I play a few myself even though most times I suck, especially at the racing games, as for first person shooters I simply do not attempt. He derives joy and pleasure from watching me crash the cars (He’s just jealous because my driving in real life is awesome and I can't replicate that in games).

I have 3 weddings to attend next month- the remaining single girls in my office decided to get hitched and so the rest of the office keeps teasing me. I laugh and tell them, fear not, for one beautiful Tuesday, I shall walk into the office married- yep. I’ll get married on a Monday, because I can.

I have a French test in a couple of minutes, I didn’t study! I’ll probably boycott the test or copy my boss.

Work has been crazy, and life crazier. Suffered a serious case of insomnia last night.....

So bad, I did the dishes at 1:50 am, cleaned the kitchen- ipod in ear, washed random things, arranged clothes, picked out my outfit for work.....went back to bed and still no sleep.......Ipod still plugged in and the time is now 4:38am, Lying down- music drowning my soul. A new quarter of the year begins today, I wonder if the people who made resolutions have kept them up to this point. I’m quite satisfied with my achievements so far this year…….Last month had me overwhelmed by God’s goodness in my life, thereby renewing my faith on another level

What bites me is I love to feel smart, and I was sooooooo prepared for him this year, until he told me his latest acquired gadget had crashed- Seeing as we lost an Ipod touch and a PS3 (all less than 2 months old) to crashing at Christmas (we had to replace them or life would be unbearable, and by we- I gave my consent……lol- HAPPY BOYFRIEND= HAPPY ME)- it was hard not to believe…… I’LL GET YOU BACK!!!!! (My mind was already swearing for the company) By the way people- APPLE has the best customer Service you can think about (This is NOT an Advertisement J)- I got a new replacement for the broken Ipod touch without paying a dime!

Off to prepare for a meeting with guys who don’t smoke but produce cigariettes- how ironic.

Well, well, well……. yours truly ~Sirius~

Yes me…..Sirius,

I’ve been honoured by two different bloggers, Tigeress and BSNC.

Yes, two of them at the same time, with the Honest Scrap Award. Only me (The rest of you don’t hate…..*evil grin, he he he). Appreciate.

My Thank you Speech- I have Out Sourced to Caramel D, she seems to have had enough practice. What say ye Ms D?

MUST DO FOR ACCEPTING THE AWARD:

2.You must include the name of the blogger who bestowed the award on you and link back to the blogger
3.You must choose a minimum of seven (7) blogs that you find brilliant in content or design. Or improvise by including bloggers who have no idea who you are because you don’t have seven friends (lol).

I find meme’s hard, but Seeing as I have completed tasks 1 and 2, I shall go ahead and list some honest things about me (Tigeress wants to know more about Sirius)

Be Warned: This specie is quite rare….so here are some honest things about me.

1. My love for God has no boundaries………….none what so ever. I’m blessed with the gift of faith…..it’s really, really deep.

2. I find it really amusing that I can’t get angry……I don’t know what it feels like to be angry, the closest I’ve ever come to getting angry was when someone ( I don’t talk to) said stuff about me that wasn’t true. (I wanted to bitch slap her face- but my Momma taught me better than that…….so like I always do, I waited for the truth to do the bitch slapping- which of course it did eventually, seeing as nothing is ever hidden under the sun *hiss)

Naturally, I get upset from time to time and after a couple of minutes or hours it fizzles out. Sometimes I try to induce the anger by replaying hurtful words said to me and hurtful things done to me…..but then I start laughing, *disturbing I know- I guess my firm belief in “everybody’s human” has a lot to do with it.

I never get it when people lose it and lash out and say all sorts of “Nansense”. Things they end up regretting. Beats me.

3. ~Sirius~ is as stubborn AS A……(complete as you wish), yet quiet- how does that work? most times I just enjoy it, my way or the high way- it’s up to you. Most people that know me don’t bother anymore. I argue with certain people like there's no tomorrow, and I always seem to have an answer for everything.

4. CTU (though it no longer exists) has nothing on me! ~Sirius~ at all times is wired up. My earphones are my adult umbilical cords, can’t survive without them- Music and me. My handbag consists of gadgets, wires and enough cables to blow up blogsville. And oh- my Vicky’s lip gloss.

5. My instincts and sixth sense scare the living daylight out of me! It’s so bad that sometimes I think I have super powers- LOL, I kid I kid! to be honest, it freaks me out, especially where matters of the heart are concerned.

6. I HATE being shouted on. I HATE IT, I HATE IT, I HATE IT!!!!

7. I’m one hell of a puzzle…..no answer is ever right. I cannot be decoded. I react in the least expected ways for any given scenario.

8. I am one of the shyest humans to face the planet earth, yet this sexy 5’7” chica happens to be a show stopper- the good part is people just stare and wonder, and I get away easily behind my mean walk, sunglasses and earphones

9. Most 1^st impressions about me are the extreme opposite of who I actually am. In fact a friend said to me “You defy everything you stand for” I’m perceived to be a fragile spoilt snob whose nose is in the air. First of all, Fragile and Sirius don’t go together, I’m a little bit spoilt….yes I am, but my nose is definitely not in the air. Is it my fault God created me a hot goddess. * hiss

10. Minus the issue of body weight going up and down……I love my body. I call it “The Beach Body” My carefully and wonderfully made- voluptuous- in- the- right-places of a body is quite a work of art- best features are my brown eyes…..you should see them at sun set. (Don’t be jealous)

11. I am an Island. I love my world, I love my solitude, can’t be bothered to go out partying, make new friends, meet people- it’s just darn stressful! My fashion magazines, the internet-Blogspot to be exact, facebook- what’s that?, music and food!!!! keep me going.

12. ~Sirius~ is NOT a jovial person. She’s Very laid back, calm, collected, listens and observes, a nice to meet you too kind of person, quiet & reserved, but somehow, whatever environment I find myself, the “it” peeps want a part of me, and this has been the trend from primary school up until the office. So I am the one person you can’t say "show me your friends or the people you hang with and I’d show you who you are."

Minus the fact that I am a well known Shopaholic.

1. I drive like a mad man……he he he. It’s the need for speed.

2. I would love to fly planes…….

3. I have FBI/CSI skills, they come naturally.

4. I don’t want a wedding, I just want to be married

5. Somehow I always end up in the lime light- I don’t fight it anymore, I just ignore.

6. I suffer a mini…….. ok that’s a lie, just over a mini OCD when it comes to the state of my car and room- NO BAGS ON THE BED PLEASE!

7. Sadly, I have won a beauty contest- and she’s shy.

8. I laugh at nearly everything- it can be very annoying

9. I wish I own a silver Magnum- just so I can clean it, shine it, and look at it everyday

10. Dita Von Teese is my fashion icon- And to think she doesn’t own a pair of jeans

11. “The Truth” and I are best of friends, no matter how bitter it is. I’d rather know than live in a lie.
